I can hardly believe that this is the last week of school. It has gone by very quickly. We have enjoyed your children this year. We will miss the children that are moving on to other schools and classes. We are happy that half the class will be returning to us for another year. Thank you for everything you have done to help us.

We are looking forward to the picnic on Friday. We hope to see you there!

We finished our bird unit last week. The children enjoyed learning about the birds. We had two ducklings hatch. The children named them Quackers and Fluffy. We have enjoyed watching them grow and they do grow fast.

Next week will be busy. Our music concert is Wednesday, May 12th at 2:00. We will be going for a fun morning at Peony Park on Friday, May 14th. We plan to leave school at 9:30 and get back about 12:00.

This week we are learning about South America and the Amazon rain forest.
